Annual Excursion Cum Study Tour
Kullu-Manali and Rohtang Pass
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organized Annual Excursion-cum-Study tour to Kullu-Manali & Rohtang Pass this year. A group of 120 students from all academic programs (BCA, BBA(G), BJ(MC) and BCom(H)) visited Kullu Manali accompanied by 10 faculty members. It was an adventurous tour of 6 days & 5 nights starting October 22nd to October 27th, 2016. The trip took off from the college premises on at 3 p.m. After a fun-filled journey of around 16 hours, the group reached Hotel Sagar Resort, our residence for the coming days, in the morning. The group visited Hadimba Temple and Tibetan monastery on October 23rd,2016 which was the first day of the trip.
On the second day, the group went on to visit Rohtang Pass with great excitement. The students were very enthusiastic to visit the spot and appreciated the exceptional natural scenic beauty and grandeur of the mountains. The students then visited Solang Valley, another spot of splendid outdoor beauty. In the evening, the students visited Mall Road in Manali for a lovely outing and loads of shopping. A DJ night was also organized for the students by the Resort.
On the third day, the group was taken to Club house in Manali. The students enjoyed many adventurous activities like River crossing, Burma Bridge Crossing, Go Carting, 7D Movie Theatre, Gun Shooting, Boating etc. which were organized specially for Trinitians. The evening was relished with leisure. Bonfire, dance and music, followed by DJ helped the students unwind after a hectic day.
On fourth day of the trip, the group started return journey to Delhi after a wholesome and delicious breakfast at the hotel. On the way back, students took a pit stop at Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara to seek Divine blessings of the Lord for a bright future. Students also visited Kullu once more to collect memoirs of the amazing holiday. The group reached Delhi after a delightful journey in early morning next day.
