Trinity Institute of Professional Studies has been successfully organizing industrial visits to various organisations like NSE, DD channel, NBT, Britannia, Parle-G, Mother Diary, NDTV, TV Today (Aaj Tak),Network Bulls,India TV and different printing press.Sessions are organized for students by various organizations like Sri Satya Sai Sewa by enriching students on Life Skill Sessions in eight training modules.Our students are given regular seminars on ‘Career options after graduation’ and ‘Personality development’ by our in-house faculty members and psychometric tests are also administered on them to help students develop themselves in all areas of life.
The students are also provided internhips through internship fairs to undergo 4 to 6 weeks training in Media Houses / Organizations / Industries / Banks and Insurance Companies for training purposes as a part of the curriculum.
 
All India Radio
Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organised an Industrial Visit for the 1st and 2nd year students of BA(J&MC) to All India Radio on 12-November-2022.  The visit included a presentation by Mr Pramod Kumar Vats, program coordinator of AIR, regarding History, Organisational Structure and Coverage of All India Radio. The students enjoyed the Akashwani Rainbow program, participation in RJ Santosh Rao's show and the performance of the BSF Band. It was a great and fun learning experience for the students.
 
Yakul India
Network Bulls
CS & IT Department of TIPS, Dwarka has organized an Industrial Visit to Network Bulls on Saturday, 19th November 2022. The visit was arranged for the BCA 3rd Semester students in order to make them acquainted with Networking Devices. Also, the objective was to give the students an exposure to explore the aspects of networking by working on simulators. A group of 51 students, accompanied by the faculty in charges Ms. Neha & Ms. Nishika reached the venue by 10:15 AM.
 
Mr. Pramod Singh addressed the gathering and briefed about the company.  The Network Bulls team has categorically divided the session into two parts, the theoretical part was taken by Mr. Gaurav with a nice presentation. Followed by a practical session in which students were given tasks to perform hands-on like configuring IP addresses, use of telnet for remote login, etc. In addition to the above, students also get to see the different network devices there. The session winded up around 2:00 PM with encouraging words from Mr. Pramod, where he discussed the different career prospects available in the networking domain.
 
The learning outcome of the visit was the students learned the CISCO networking concepts, they got an opportunity to work on different networking devices and also got to know about the growing opportunities in the Networking Domain.

Industrial visit to Mehrauli archaeological site and Qutub Minar

Department of Journalism and Mass communication organised a Photowalk for the second semester students as a part of their curriculum for the subject Still Photography at Mehrauli archaeological site and Qutub Minar. This activity was carried on for two days i.e. 13th June and 14th June. The reporting time was 6 AM and students actively took part in the photowalk. They got to learn the functioning of DSLR camera, compositional skills, technicalities involved in the execution of idea as a photograph. Mr. Sahil, Mr. Ajay and Mr. Tapanshu accompanied the students to guide them throughout and to clear their doubts with the help of practical demonstration.

 
Industrial Visit to Network Bulls

CS & IT department under the aegis of IQAC cell organized an Industrial Visit to Network Bulls on Tuesday, 31st May 2022. The visit was arranged for the 4th sem students in order to make them explore the aspects of networking and hands-on experience on different networking devices. The group of students, accompanied by the faculty in charge of the visit Dr. Krishna.  The entire session was divided into 2 sessions- 1. theoretical and 2. practical. After a small briefing by Mr. Pramod Singh, the first session started at 10:10 AM by Mr. Abhishek Kaushik through ppt slides. During the 2nd session, students were given tasks to perform hands-on like encrypting passwords, use of telnet for remote login, etc. In addition to the above, students also get to see the different network devices there. The session was concluded by encouraging words from Mr. Pramod, Head – Training and Corporate Relations, Network Bulls. He made the students well acquainted with different career prospects available in the networking domain. The overall outcome of the visit is to bridge the academia and industry gap. Also to provide hands-on experience to the students to opt for networking as career opportunity.

 

National Lok Adalat Visit

Law Department Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organized a National Lok Adalat Visit in Collaboration with South West District Legal Service Authority for the Students at Dwarka Court Complex New Delhi on 14th May 2022. It was a great exposure for the students to learn about the court proceedings in practical manner. The students learned about the procedure for filling applications and presenting case before the Lok Adalat alongside with the importance and need of Lok Adalat to resolve dispute in amicable manner with less time and in cheap manner. The students understand about the importance of Arbitration Mediation and Conciliation for resolving dispute in timely manner. Lastly the students have a interaction with the judges and doubts of the students were answered by the Honourable Presiding Judge. Then finally the students have a interactive session with the Ms Anuradha Prasad Secretary South West District Legal Service Authority to know more about the structure power and functions of Lok Adalat. She gave a detailed lecture on the Legal Services Authorities Act 1987. Towards the end she addressed the queries of the students.The students participated with great enthusiasm and strength and it was a great experience for the students.

Doordarshan visit- “START UPS in Health Care Sector

On 5th Feb 2021, six students of first semester, BCA along with Dr. Surabhi Shanker have gone to Doordarshan.  The students particpated in "Startup Champions" (Both Hindi & English) show @ Doordarshan. The show was about the  Start ups in Health care sector. The main guest for both the shows were Dr. Geetha Manjunath  (CEO)  of Niramai health analytix pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vishal Kataria (CEO) of Bonayu Lifescience Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Madhukar SM (CEO) of Innaumation Medical Pvt. Ltd. The students actively took part in the discussion and asked relevant questions to the guests. At the end of the show, students were also felicitated by the Director General of Doordarshan. We would like to convey our gratitude to Duhan Sir for providing such an amazing opportunity to our students. 

Learning Outcome: Students gained public speaking confidence as they were interacting with the panel members. It was a great platform for the students to develop their communication skills and personality.

VISIT TO ABP

Students of BA(JMC) Department, TIPS went to ABP News Sammelan to participate in a show Jhanda Ooncha rahe hamara, a tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama Attack. The show was inaugurated by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar and the whole team of movie Mission Mangal.

SEBI Visit:

 
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organised 1 day visit of BBA and B.com final year students to Securities and Exchange Board of India. 70 students visited SEBI on 29th August 2019. Students got the opportunity to learn about various departments functional in SEBI like Corporate Finance, Economic and policy analysis, Enforcement, Human Resources, legal affairs, Investigation, Investment Management, International affairs. Additionally, students learned about Investors Protection and different Investment avenues available for youth. It was indeed a great learning experience for students.
 
 
 
Doordarshan Industrial Visit:
The students of first semester of BA(JMC) took part in "Startup Champions" (Both Hindi & English) show at Doordarshan on 14th January 2021. The show was about the startup businesses in the space domain. The main guest of the hindi show was Shri S. Somanath, Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space center, Trivandrum & for the English show the guest was Shri K. Sivan, Chairman, ISRO. The students actively took part in the discussion and asked relevant questions to the guests. At the end of the show, students were also felicitated by the Director General of Doordarshan
 
 
 
 
Yakult Visit:
84 students from BBA and B.com (2nd year) went for an Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt Ltd on 6th September, 2019. The Yakult manufacturing plant with  ISO 9001: 2008, HACCP and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified state-of-the-art facility is located in  Rai, Sonepat, in Haryana. As a pioneer in probiotic, Yakult has formidable research capabilities and product technologies in the field of probiotic. Yakult central institute for microbiological research has for years researched the use of intestinal bacteria as a factor in health maintenance, conducting a wide range of studies on the benefits of micro-organisms in Japan, in India too. Yakult’s benefits have been scientifically established through years of research and 30 million people in more than 30 countries drink yakult every day. During the tour students were taken for the visit inside the Processing Unit where different stages of processing namely mixing of raw ingredients, sterilization, fermentation, blending, injection moulding, scrambling, filling/sealing, shrinking and packaging, storage and their automatic control process were demonstrated. The product is produced very hygienically. On their way back students stopped at Sukhdev for lunch. 
The visit was an enriching experience for the students as they learned the processing stages and the latest technology in producing processed products. 
Mother Dairy visit:
Education tours are essential for the overall development of a student. They provide valuable educational opportunities away from the classroom, without using textbooks and other tools used in a usual school setting. Students on educational trips can often learn while having fun in a more informal environment. Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, organized an industrial visit to Mother Dairy for the students of BBA(G)  and B.Com (H) 1st year on 26th September, 2019. 110 students participated in the visit. The aim of the visit was to provide practical exposure to the students where they could experience the operations of the milk industry. Mother Dairy was commissioned in 1974 as a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB). It was an initiative under operation flood, the world's biggest dairy development program launched to make India a milk sufficient nation. The company officials welcomed the students, where. Mr. R. K. R. Pillai, Manager, Consumer Information Centre gave a presentation in which he explained the processing capacity of the plant with the significance of the steps in processing, the procedure of procurement, testing and packaging of milk and the benefits of various categories of milk. Students asked various questions after the presentation, thereafter the students were taken for a tour of the entire plant where they were shown the process of testing, processing, storage and transportation facilities of Mother Dairy. During the visit, the students were made aware of the stages of milk processing at the plant. They were given information regarding the quality parameters which they follow while processing milk. They were briefed about the primitive and newer modes of milk collection and distribution. The visit provided experiential learning to the students and helped them understand the process involved in the making of milk which is totally automated and is internationally designed keeping in mind the hygiene standards. After the students had an exposure of the various processes, milk and ice-creams were served to the students. Knowledge and fun were the ingredients of the day!

 
 
  Network Bulls:
 
 
On 7th September, 2019 50 students from BCA (2nd year) went to Cisco Networking Industrial visit at Network Bulls. Network Bulls is the Asia’s Biggest Cisco Training Lab campus in Gurgaon where students got opportunity to acquire live theoretical and practical training on networking and working of Cisco Routers, Switches and Firewalls. They have a Data Center fully equipped with over 2000 Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IPS Systems, ISE Servers, Call Managers, IP Phones and a lot more. The session was an enriching experience for the students as they got in-depth learning of Cisco Networking and also about networks working. Students learned about Career options in the networking field. It was indeed a practical experience for students on networking devices.
