The Convocation Ceremony at Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka is a proud celebration of academic achievement, growth, and new beginnings. Held annually, the event honors our graduating students across all programs BBA, BCA, BAJMC, BA LLB, and B.Com (Hons) as they step into the professional world with confidence and purpose.
The ceremony features addresses by eminent guests, faculty leaders, and alumni, along with the ceremonial awarding of degrees. It is a moment of joy, reflection, and recognition for the hard work and dedication of our students.
 
10TH CONVOCATION
 
 
On a momentous day marked by pride and reflection, the Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka, hosted its 11th Convocation Ceremony, a proud occasion for the graduating class of 2022-23, their families, faculty, and the entire Trinity community. With over 488 graduates embarking on the next chapter of their professional journeys, the event marked the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and academic growth.
 
The ceremony began with the graceful Academic Procession, a traditional hallmark that set a dignified tone for the morning. The Convocation Ceremony was dignified by the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and recipient of the Padma Shri, graced the occasion as the Presiding Guest. The institute was equally honoured to welcome the Chief Guest, Mrs. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha (West Delhi), whose inspiring presence added great significance to the event. Representing the institution’s leadership, Dr. R.K. Tandon, Honourable Chairman of TIPS, and Dr. Reema Tandon, Honourable Vice Chairperson, extended a warm welcome to all guests. The occasion was also graced by Ms. Shreya Tandon, Member of the Management Committee; Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal, Director; Prof. (Dr.) Sandhya Maitra, Deputy Director, and Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Bala, Principal,  whose commitment to academic excellence continues to shape the vibrant learning environment at TIPS. Their collective presence reflected the strength, vision, and values that define the Trinity community and inspired the graduates as they stepped into a new chapter of their lives.
 
Prof. Verma eloquently reflected on the profound meaning behind the name ‘Trinity.’ He shared that ‘T’ represents the sacred Tridev - Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh, symbolising the divine foundation of knowledge and creation. ‘R’ signifies being Remarkable and Rational- the essence of innovation, originality, and critical thought. ‘I’ stands for Inclusivity, mirroring the Institute’s dedication to nurturing holistic development, adaptability, and lifelong learning.
He urged graduates to embrace three guiding life principles: to dream ambitiously and pursue those dreams with relentless passion; to remain intellectually agile by continually learning, unlearning, and relearning; and to seek a higher purpose, one that transcends personal ambition and contributes meaningfully to society, the nation, and humanity at large.
Prof. Verma also imparted five timeless values as mantras for success: Foresight, Courage, Determination, Empathy, and Integrity, underscoring that there are no shortcuts to meaningful achievement.
 
Applauding Trinity’s commitment to excellence and its prestigious NAAC A accreditations, he expressed confidence in the Institute’s trajectory. He commended the visionary leadership, dedicated faculty, and staff for cultivating an environment where students are empowered to thrive. He concluded by affirming that Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, which truly embodies its name in purpose, in principle, and performance is poised for continued distinction in the academic and professional spheres.
 
Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, graciously joined the ceremony upon the invitation of Director Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal. In a moment of deep significance, Prof. (Dr.) Sandhya Maitra commenced the Convocation Oath, as graduates rose in unison, pledging to uphold integrity, strive for excellence, and dedicate themselves in service to society with honour and purpose. A total of 488 degrees were conferred across various disciplines, including 46 in BA LLB, 98 in BA (Mass Communication), 94 in BCA (Computer Science & IT), 52 in B.Com, and 198 in BBA. The event also recognised outstanding academic performance with the awarding of 10 prestigious gold medals.
 
Towards the conclusion of the ceremony, Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal, Director, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, especially acknowledging the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Padma Shri awardee, as the Presiding Guest, along with Chief Guest Mrs. Kamaljeet Sehrawat, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha (West Delhi). He expressed deep gratitude to all esteemed guests, , including Dr. R.K. Tandon, Honourable Chairman, Honourable Dr. Reema Tandon, Honourable Vice President, Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Bala, Principal – Law, Dr. Sandhya Maitra, Deputy Director, Head of Departments, and the dedicated faculty across all disciplines for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and institutional growth. Special congratulations were extended to Mr. Ajay Kumar Sharma and Dr. Neha Arora, recipients of the Best Faculty Award 2024, presented by Chief Guest Mrs. Kamaljeet Sehrawat.
 
He extended his best wishes to the graduating batch, urging them to carry forward the values instilled at TIPS and to strive for excellence in all their future endeavours.
The convocation ceremony concluded on a joyous note, followed by a celebratory lunch gathering. The event not only honoured academic achievements but also served as a source of inspiration for the students to dream bigger and reach higher.
 
 
10TH CONVOCATION
 
 
The tenth annual convocation of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (‘TIPS’), Dwarka was held 27.01.2024 at the Amphitheatre of Deen Dayal Upadhyay College, University of Delhi. Chairman of the institute, Dr. R.K. Tandon, along with Chief Guest Lok Sabha MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, Engineer India Limited Director Shri Jai Prakash Tomar, and Guru Gobind Singh University Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma grace the occasion with their august presence.
 
The ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, by the special guests. On this occasion, 'Saraswati Vandana' was also performed by the students. In this convocation, the degree distribution ceremony was started by the special guests in which first gold medals were given to the toppers and then a total of 218 students were awarded graduation degrees. The students who received the degree were from Journalism and Mass Communication, Computer, IT and Management departments.
 
Chief Guest, Lok Sabha MP, Honorable Shri Parvesh Verma started his speech with the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. He gave the message to the students to implement the lessons learned from the life of Maryada Purushottam Ram in their lives. While congratulating the students who got the degree, he said that they should use their education for the betterment of the society and the country, while the Director of Engineer India Limited and the guest of honour, Shri Jai Prakash Tomar,  said that today is a historic day for your life. Utilize your degree for the welfare of the society and country.
 
On this occasion, Trinity Chairman Dr. R.K. Tandon also announced the Best Teacher Award. Dr. Aparna Chaturvedi of CS-IT department received this award. Thanking the Chairman, he dedicated this award to his fellow teachers.
The convocation ceremony concluded by the Vote of Thanks, given by the Director of the Institute, Professor (Dr.) Ashutosh Aggarwal. He thanked the dignitaries, parents and faculty for their presence in making the ceremony a success and wished the graduates a wonderful life full of success and learning. Dr. Sandhya Maitra, Dr. Shashi Bala, Dr. Mukta Sharma, Dr. Deepali Saluja, Dr. Mukta Sharma, Dr. Arvind Sagar, Mr. Arunesh Dwivedi, and many other faculty members were present in this function.
 
9TH CONVOCATION
 
 
The annual graduation ceremony is a day devoted to celebrating an important moment in every student’s life. Examinations are finally over; parents admire their children for reaching the finishing line of a long marathon. Most of all, it is a time of unrestrained optimism and dreams. 
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organized its Convocation ceremony for the batches of 2016-2019, 2017-2020, and 2018-2021 held at Dr. SR KVS Auditorium of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Delhi Cantt. on 21st January 2023. The ceremony was graced with blessings of Goddess Saraswati with ‘lighting of the lamp’ by the respected dignitaries and recitation of the ‘Saraswati Vandana’ by our present students. This was followed with the welcome address by Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman TIPS Dwarka, for esteemed dignitaries on the dais, parents, students, and faculty members. The dignitaries on the dais were Shri. Manish Sisodia Hon'ble Dy. Chief Minister and Education Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman TIPS, Dr. Reema Tandon, Vice Chairperson TIPS, Dr. Ashutosh Aggarwal, Director TIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Bala Principal Law Department and Dr. Y. Marka Director Planning TIPS. 
The dignitaries on the dais were felicitated with memento and floral bouquets. The function proceeded with sharing some ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ by the Chief Guest Shri. Manish Sisodia Hon'ble Dy. Chief Minister and Education Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi to the graduating students. 
Shri. Manish Sisodia, Honorable Dy. Chief Minister and Education Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi gave (Late) Shri. O. P Tandon Lifetime Achievement Award in the field of Education & Medical Sciences to Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The speech was followed by the degree distribution ceremony started with awarding gold medal and distinction followed by degree distribution to the graduates by all the dignitaries on the dais.
Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, blessed the graduates and motivated them to be successful in their lives and be the change,  they wish to see for a developed nation. 
 
Finally, the ceremony of transition of students into further phases of their lives was concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Aggarwal, Director TIPS. He thanked the dignitaries, parents, and faculty for their presence in making this ceremony a success and wished a wonderful life journey to the graduates filled with success and learning. This was further concluded by pledging honour to our mother nation by National Anthem. 
The event was followed by lunch and finally, the graduation ceremony ended with joy that is sure to inspire the students to achieve great heights and dreams.
 
 
8TH CONVOCATION
 

 
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka, an A+ category institution of GGSIPU, New Delhi,functioning under the aegis of KEWS,organised its 8th Convocation on December 15, 2018. The ceremony began with the procession of dignitaries and students entering the auditorium in their graduation robes. It was followed by National Song and National Anthem. The Chief Guest of the event was His Excellency Prof. JagdishMukhi, the Hon’ble Governor of Assam. Shri Suresh Jain, National Organising Secretary, Bharat VikasParishad, was the Presiding Guest. Prof. N.K. Kakkar, Former Director General, MAIMS and Prof. A.P. Mittal, Member Secretary, AICTE were the Guests of Honour. The dignitaries were welcomed by bouquets, mementoes and shawls by Dr. R K Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, Mr. Harsh Tandon, Vice Chairman, Managing Committee, Prof H P Garg, Director General, TIPS, Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS and Dr. Prasenjit Singh, Director, Law. After the welcome, all the guests proceeded for lamp lighting in the pious echoes of SaraswatiVandana. Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman, TIPS declared the opening of the Convocation and addressed the gathering, welcoming all the guests and graduating students. He emphasised on adaptability, creativity and theory of survival of the fittest. He also reminded students about their responsilities towards their parents, society and the country. After that, Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS read out the Annual report of TIPS. He mentioned the various academic and co-curricular events organised by TIPS including the National Conference, Social Outreach Programs, Faculty Development Programs and many more. Then, the O.P. Tandon Memorial 'Best Teacher-Scholar Award for 2015-16' was presented to Ms. Ratika Malhotra, Assistant Professor, Management Department for her efficient & outstanding academic contribution at TIPS. After the annual report, Prof. N.K. Kakkar reiterated Commandments which were appealed to the graduating students to follow. It was followed by the Oath taking ceremony by Prof. H P Garg, students were to follow the oath. Thereafter, the merit holders were presented medals and their graduation degrees. Shri Suresh Jain, National Organising Secretary, Bharat VikasParishad, the Presiding Guest of the Convocation Ceremony, addressed the gathering and enlightened everyone. He stressed upon the need for quality education and making educationliberal, introducing new practices and updating of course curriculum as per the changingmarket scenario. Chief Guest for the event, His Excellency, Prof. JagdishMukhi, the Hon’ble Governor of Assam, delivered the Convocation address. He said that the Indian Higher Education Systemis passing through an unprecedented transformation driven by economic and demographicchange. He also congratulated the students and stated that ensuring the highest standardsof Education is a top priority for the government.He mentioned that demographic profile of the country is favourable for growth and development. He appreciated the efforts made by Dr. R.K. Tandon in the field of education and for taking initiative to give to the society, an institution which is truly focused on quality professional higher education. It was followed by Degree Distribution ceremony for the students of BBA, BBA (B&I), B.COM BCA and BJMC. After all the students received their degrees, the Convocation Ceremony was declared closed, followed by Vote of Thanks by Prof. H.P. Garg. The event concluded with the National Anthem, followed by the departure of the Procession from the Auditorium.
 
7TH CONVOCATION
 
 
It was a proud moment for Trinity Institute of Professional Studies running under the aegis of Kamal Educational And Welfare Society as their Convocation Ceremony was held on 20th August 2016 to award degrees and medals to the students of BBA (G), BBA (B&I), BCA & BA(JMC). The magnanimous event was organized and successfully conducted at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Auditorium, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi. Shri. Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma, Member of Parliament (Outer Delhi) was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. The Guest of Honor for the day was Shri. Surender Kumar, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West Delhi) along with Shri. Jagdish Mittal, General Secretary, Maharaja Agrasen Medical College (Haryana). The special Invitee for the day was Shri. Ajay Bansal, Assistant Commissioner of Police. The guests were welcomed and felicitated by Dr. R. K. Tandon, Chairman, TIPS and Ms. Reema Tandon, Vice – Chairperson, TIPS. After the honorary welcome, the occasion was initiated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp along with the apt accompaniment of the Saraswati Vandana. This was followed by Welcome Address by the Chairman and Convocation Address by Chief Guest, Shri. Surendra Kumar, IPS, DCP (South West Delhi). After this, the Convocation was declared open by Shri. Surender Kumar. Degree Distribution began by awarding Gold Medals and Degrees to Batch toppers from each discipline, following which students of BBA (G), BBA (B&I), BCA and BJ(MC) were awarded their degrees who had successfully completed their academic programs across multiple streams in the year 2015. Trinitians under the assiduous guidance of touch perfection management and faculty have always re-affirmed that their dreams culminate into action that effectively paves way for feats and laurels that call for adulation and appreciation. It was a moment of great exaltation as Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS, Dwarka presented Annual Report of Activities of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies for the Academic Year 2014-15. The occasion also saw the declaration of the Shri O. P. Tandon, Memorial Best Teacher-Scholar Award 2014-15 in the memory of Founder Chairman of Kamal & Trinity Group of Institutions Late Shri O. P. Tandon ji – an endeavor to immortalize his values and ideals.The recipient of this award for 2014-15 was Ms. Priyanka Rattan (Asst. Professor, Dept. of IT & Computer Science, TIPS, Dwarka). Vote of Thanks was then extended by Dr. J.P. Singh, Dean, TIPS to ceremonially bring the occasion to its formal conclusion following which the Convocation was declared closed by the Shri. Jagdish Mittal, Guest of Honour. After the National Anthem, the august gathering witnessed the Academic Procession leave the Convocation Hall.
