Orientation Programme, 2022
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka organised Orientation Programme, 2022 for the first year students of all the courses - BBA, BCA, BAJMC, BALLB and B.com(H). The program began with the warm welcome of fresher’s followed by departmental orientation including various activities, clubs and societies of Trinity. The students also enjoyed various cultural performances during the program. All the first year students were excited and looking forward to their three year journey with TIPS.
Teacher's Day Celebrations
The management of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka organised Teacher's Day celebrations to cherish the noble profession of teaching. The event incorporated cultural performances, titles with ramp walk of teachers and glimpses of teacher's memories in TIPS. Students used this opportunity to pay their gratitude to teachers for their dedication and hard work. It turned out to be a heart-warming gesture for the team of TIPS. At the end, faculties and staff members expressed their gratitude to chairman sir for his kind gesture.
 
Nukkad Natak 
Students of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies performed nukad natak and dance performance in collaboration with SW- DLSA on the ocassion of DURGA SHAKTI WEEK in GOVERNMENT GIRL SCHOOL , SAMALKHA on 8 APRIL 2022. highlighting the essence of women empowerment  hygiene , equality and  fraternity amongst all the sort of generations . They performed on the issue of awareness about female hygiene, what are the pros and how women should take care of the health during the menses.  It was an interesting and very helpful event. 
 
Book Inaugration - "The Revolutionaries Shed Their Blood for India's Independence"
Students of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies attended the  ?????? - ???????? of Book "The Revolutionaries Shed Their Blood for India's Independence Written by Justice S.N. Aggarwal (Former Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court) organised by Bharat Vikas Prasad on 12th April 2022 at N.D.M.C Conventional Centre New Delhi. The main theme of the event was to aware the people about the sacrifice of the Freedom Fighter and about those who have shed their blood for the Independence of India. The speakers talked about the sacrifice of Freedom Fighters without which the battle for independence of India couldn't not have been won. The Chief Guest of the Event was Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Honb'le Union Minister For Education, Government of India. The event was mesmerized by the Presence of Advocate Gajendra Singh Sandhu, National President, Bharat Vikas Parishad and Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Chairperson, National Green Tribunal, Government of India. The event concluded under the guidance of Shri Suresh (Bhaiya Ji) Joshi, Former Sarkarvah, Rastriya Swaymsevak Sangh. We wish all the best to all the participants and give our warm regards to our Chairman Sir Dr R.K. Tandon and Prof(Dr.) Shashi Bala Principal Law  Department for accompanying with the students as a motivational participant in event.

 

Live Telecast on  Pariksha Pe Charcha

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka, New Delhi, under the aegis of IQAC cell, organizes live telecast of the 5th edition of “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022” by honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, on 1st of April 2022. It was a wonderful session organized at Talkotra Stadium and PM interacting with students from different parts of the country. PM shared his views on how to ease out stress by students during examination time. Student fraternity of the institute enthusiastically participated at the live program.

International Women’s Day

The CS & IT Department of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka, celebrated “International Women’s Day” on 8th March 2022.  Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl, Director, TIPS graced the occasion with her encouraging words on Women's Empowerment and taught the young generation about gender equality and women’s safety. Also, she highlighted the roles and challenges faced by women in every sphere of their lives.

Students and Faculty Members celebrated this occasion by conducting numerous activities like Poem Recitation by students and faculty members on the Women's Day Theme. The group song performance by Elysian, the Music Society of the college. A documentary based on the strong and inspirational women was beautifully displayed. Followed by inspirational short stories in the form of speeches by students. Later a Quiz Competition was also organized on the theme. The program concluded with a photo session of all the faculty members and the student volunteers.

JUST A MINUTE(JAM) COMPETITION 

Department of Management and Commerce under the aegis of IQAC organized - Just a Minute(JAM) Competition on 09th February, 2022 from 11:00 a.m onwards for the students of  BBA & B.Com(H). The event was Judged by Dr. Surabhi Shankar and Mr.Aditya Shanti, CSR, Wipro [B.com Alumni, (2017-20 batch)]. Students enthusiastically participated in the event. The event aimed  to boost the self confidence and to improve the public speaking skills of the future managers.

The winners of the event were :

3. Robin Sharma, BBA(2019-22).

The event was well coordinated by Ms. Priya Gund and Ms. Shweta Yadav under the able guidance of Director ma'am.

DEBATE COMPETITION 

Management and Commerce Department of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka organized preliminary round of debate competition on 4th February '22 for BBA & B.COM(H) students successfully.  Total of 89 students participated enthusiastically in the event and 22 students got shortlisted on the basis of communication skills, confidence, content and body language criteria. These shortlisted students will be participating in the second round of debate which will be held in the 2nd week of Feb'22.

 
TECH SAMAROH’21- AN IT FEST

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, CS & IT Department under the aegis of IQAC organized an intra-college IT fest, TECH SAMAROH’2021, on 19th June 2021. The fest was for all the students of the Institute, it was conducted virtually via Zoom platform, amidst the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries.

It was a great college fiesta, filled with lots of excitement, enthusiasm and spark. TECH SAMAROH’ 2021, had fun-filled activities, having a deep reflection of tech freak. It includes exhilarating Game Camp like Ludo, Call of Duty, Valorant, and Players Unknown Battle Ground Mobile (PUBG) to compete and win. The fest has other sub categories like Cyber Security Quiz, 3D Animation, Blog Writing, Bright Star Hunt, Web-Designing Competition, Skribble.io, all of it had an immense creative & technical touch to it.

The event was graced by Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl, Director, TIPS, Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Bala, Principal, Law, and all faculty and students. The audience was completely swayed by the interactive events.

The events were judged by external and internal judges, we have invited Mr. Dushyant Bahl (Computer Science Engineer, Infosys), Ms. Harneet Kaur (Co-founder, vice president, Knownymous Online Marketing), Ms. Vaishnavi Tariyal (Technical Assistant, Capgemini, Tips Alumni (2017-2020))

The event started at 10:00 AM by welcoming all the dignitaries, followed by the lighting of lamp for seeking the auspicious blessings of Maa Saraswati goddess. The fest was addressed and inaugurated by director mam, later at 10:30 AM events started. There were total 225 participants.

Two events started consecutively at 10:30 AM, One was 3D animation, which held at Google Meet and the other was Website Designing competition initiated on Zoom platform. 3D animation the theme for the competition were moving car animation, rocket propulsion animation, military based animation. Participants were supposed to design in a time frame of 1 hour, at the end the participants depicted their creativity and were evaluated by the judges. Website Designing competition was judged by three external Judges, students were given theme to design website on AI for Entertainment, and theme was given on the spot by the judges. Participants were allocated 1 hour, after that the participants were monitored and evaluated by the judges.

Next two events were Cyber Security Quiz and Valorant game which started at 12:00PM, on zoom platform and on Gaming platform, both the events ended by 1:00 PM.

The next event was Blog Writing which started at 1:00PM, on zoom platform. Students were given theme on the spot by the judges, the theme to write blog was: How to do travel photography/videography; Using technology in small business (credit card processing, customer relationship management, email marketing, etc.); Self-improvement/Personal development (how you overcame some obstacle or started a new habit, and what have you learnt); Learning a new language (Cryptocurrency Bitcoin, etc.)". Participants were supposed to write blog in a time frame of 1 hour, at the end the participants shared their progress and talked about their work which was evaluated by the judges.  The event ended by 2:30PM.

Later around 2:30 PM, Bright Star Hunt was held on zoom platform, the event was a combination of fun filled comedy, dance, singing.  In between two events, PUBG & COD were announced and they were held smoothly on Gaming platform, both the events initiated at 2:00 PM and lasted by 3:30PM.

Participants joined for LUDO competition at 3:00, which ended by 4:00PM. The final event of the Tech Samaroh was scribble.io which was an hour long event commenced from 4:00 PM, on zoom platform.

The event was later carried out by Ms. Neha Aggarwal, Event coordinator, she welcome the chairman sir, director mam, and all the dignitaries for their benign presence. She also congratulated all the participants.

The august gathering was addressed by the chairman sir and finally the most awaited event, i.e. Award Ceremony initiated and winners were announced by our esteem dignitaries. The event ended with a formal Vote of thanks by Dr. Mukta Sharma, HOD, CS & IT Department; followed by a beautiful video showing the student event head & student coordinators testimonials; which showed their gratitude towards management, faculty and staff and also for their peers for making them the part of the event.

The event was a big success and was liked & appreciated by the students. The meticulous efforts of all the faculties, students and everyone involved were rewarded by the enjoyment, happiness and enthusiasm that it could bring forth. The fest turned out to be a fun filled extravaganza, a spectacular gala that took place with great participation.

Learning outcome: The IT Fest was indeed a learning and fun filled experience for the participants. It also helped the students to learn, play, manage event in a well coordinated way. The FEST also helped the students showcase their talents.
 
LIVE YOGA SESSION ON INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY
21st June 2021: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, National Social Service (NSS)Cell TIPS  organised a Live Yoga Session for all Students, Faculty, Parents and Staff Members via zoom on 21st June 2021 . Yoga Educators and Practitioners Ms. Rama Bansal and Ms. Ritu Misra from Bhartiya Yog Sansthan were invited for the live demonstration of Yoga Postures.
Live Yoga session of around forty minutes was organized in which students, faculty, Parents and staff took part enthusiastically and practiced various ‘asanas’ of Yoga and pranayama. The session concluded with an interactive session between the Yoga instructors and the participants in which the queries of all the participants were addressed satisfactorily.
The Pictures of Yoga Posture from interested students above 17 years of age and also from college students for the national  competition were also invited.

 Yoga Session:  DetoxiYog 

Department of management and Commerce under the aegis of IQAC of Trinity Dwarka organized yoga session  DetoxiYog on  19th Feburary 2021 to stay motivated in their fitness journey. The faculty and administration staff learned exercises for their neck, shoulders, spine & eyes along with different breathing techniques to calm oneself. At Trinity Dwarka we believe our each employee should be physically, mentally & emotionally fit and we hope this small initiative will go a long way in achieving the same. The event was coordinated by Dr. Aarti Suryavanshi, Dr. Kanika Bankhad and Dr. Anitha G.

IPS KREEDA-2021

The Sports committee of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organized an sports event “TIPS KREEDA-2021” under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), for the Students of BCA, BBA, B.com,BA(JMC) & BA.LLB on 23th March, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at TIPS Front yard & Basement. There were four games organized in TIPS KREEDA-2021 as TT, Tug of war, Long Jump & High Jump. All the winners who have achieved first position got Gold Medal. All the First Position winners got Gold medals & certificates in all four games. All the second position winners got certificates only.
In prize distribution ceremony, Our Respected Chairman sir, Dr.R.K. Tandon gave some insights and useful tips that how sports are related with good health as well as he gave medals to all the winners.
Later, our Respected Director, Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl, gave some useful information about sports and its importance in life. At last, the session was ended with a formal vote of thanks by Respected Director, Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl. The session turned out highly enriching for everyone and students were enthralled to listen to the speakers.

Learning Outcome:

The students learned about the importance of sports for good health. The students enjoyed a lot. Selected players will get a chance to participate in the University Sports Meet.

The Sports committee of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organized a webinar on “Yoga Beginers Guide on Chakra Flow” under the aegis of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), for the Students of BCA, BBA, B.com,BA(JMC) & BA.LLB on
12th March, 2021 at 14:30 hours over Zoom App. The program commenced with a welcome note by Dr. B.P Singh to our chief guests Ms. Anuradha Goel (MSMT, Yoga & wellness Professional) and Ms. Deepti Goel(DNYS Naturopathy & MSMT Yoga & Holistic Science Professional). The speakers have shared their thoughts on Yoga & Chakra Flow. Ms. Anuradha Goel has shared her views on Chakra Flow & Deepti Goel has shown some yoga exercise like chair yoga & Pranayam. All the students & Faculty members have enjoyed it. Later, our Respected Director, Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl, gave some useful information about Yoga & Pranayam and how can someone implement these activities in our day-to-day life. At last, the session was ended with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl. The session turned out highly enriching for everyone and students were enthralled to listen to the speakers.
Learning Outcome:
The students & faculty members learned about Yogasan, Chair yoga, Chakraflow & Pranayam.

There were five games organized in “TIPS KREEDA2020” as Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, & Arm wrestling. All the winners who have achieved first position got Gold medal & certificates. All the Second Position winners got silver medal & certificates in all four games. In prize distribution ceremony, Our Respected Chairman sir, Dr. R.K. Tandon gave some insights and useful tips that how sports are related with good health as well as he announced the name of winners & provide them medal & certificates. Later, our Respected Director, Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl, gave some useful information about sports and its importance in life. At last, the session was ended with a formal vote of thanks by Respected Director, Prof. (Dr.) Barkha Bahl. The session turned out highly enriching for everyone and students were enthralled to listen to the speakers.

TECHNOLOGY, INNOVATION AND FUN: Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organised ‘Tech Samaaroh 2020’, a tech fest under the aegis of IQAC on 15th February,2020. It included competitions such as ‘Go Code’, ‘LAN Gaming’ , ‘Treasure Hunt’ and many more. The fest turned out to be successful and witnessed unmatched enthusiasm.
TAKING SPORTS FORWARD: Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organised its sports meet, TIPS KREEDA 2020 on 15th February 2020 with competitions such as arm wrestling, chess,carrom, table tennis and many more. The event turned out to be highly enriching and witnessed massive participation.
Yoga Session
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka organised a Yoga session for its teaching as well as non-teaching staff on 7th December 2019. The session was conducted by Mr. Nishit Shandilya, Mr. Sandeep Goswami, Mrs. Aditi Vashishth, experienced faculty members from the Art of Living Foundation who not only taught Yoga postures that relive stress but also threw light upon the ways to deal with pressure in this modernised world. Everyone participated enthusiastically in the session and benefited greatly through philosophical learning as well. The workshop ended on a positive note as Dr. Barkha Bahl, Director gave the vote of thanks expressing her gratitude for such an enriching session.
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies organized UNMAD 2.0- A cultural fest
13th November, 2019 New Delhi: Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, (TIPS), Dwarka, NAAC accredited Institute, Ranked “A+” Institute of G.G.S.I.P.U, Delhi organized a cultural fest for the students of the Institute on 13th November 2019 at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri amidst the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries. This event was organized with the complete involvement of the whole institute. It was a great cultural fiesta filled with lots of excitement, enthusiasm and colors. The fest witnessed a footfall of nearly three thousand people throughout the day which included student participants from various universities and affiliated institutes of G.G.S.I.P.U. in Delhi-NCR since it was an inter-college cultural fest. UNMAD 2.0, referring to great excitement lived up to its meaning and the tagline (Insanely crafted for you) as the event had fun-filled activities, crazy energy among the participants and attendees along with having a deep reflection of culture. Be it the mesmerizing cultural dance performances or the traditional and modern costume themed fashion walk, all of it had an immense creative touch to it. With a thunderous line-up of cultural events and competitions such as street play, rap battle, fashion show, solo singing, dancing and Battle of the Bands, topped with engaging workshops, Unmad 2019 was crowd pleasing to every circle of students and visitors. The event was graced by and took place under the guidance of Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, Mrs. Reema Tandon, Vice-Chairperson TIPS, Prof. H.P. Garg, Director General, TIPS, Dr. Barkha Bahl, Director, TIPS, Dr.K.K.Geetha, Director-cum-Principal, Law TIPS. The guests of honour of the event included the famous pop-star Ashok Masti, popular comedian Mr. Deepak Saini, RJ Rahul Makin from Fever 104 FM, General Secretary of NAI Mr. Vipin Gaur, and lyricist Mr. Sanjeev Anand along with Likee Team Heads including Mr. Damon,Country Head/GM of Likee India, Mr. Shailesh Rauthan, Indian person In charge, Mr. Alie, Chinese person In charge and Mr. Amber, Chinese person In charge of Likee India. The audience was completely swayed by the energetic performances by RJ Rahul Makin, Mr. Deepak Saini and the singing sensation Ashok Masti along with those of other eminent personalities.The event was also graced by the presence of talented guests who were invited as judges of various competitions. This included Mr. Ravi Sehrawat, Mr. Vipul, both well known in the field of theatre, Mr. Prateek Oberoi, who is a writer, poet and a musician, Mr. Mridul Madhok, MTV dating in the dark fame and TikTok stardom, Mr. Ravi Solanki, CEO of The Social House, Ms. Dimpy Dua, Co-founder of The Social House, Mr. Himanshu Bhatnagar, owner of dance studio, Ms. Jagriti Bhatnagar, professional classical dancer, Mr. Meinal Sharma, alumni of TIPS and head of ‘Design Cramberry’, Mr. Sanyam Bhayana, winner of numerous street dance events as well as Mr. Prasan Kapoor, winner of numerous rap battles. The title sponsor of the event was ‘Likee’, a famous video creation and sharing platform. The event was co-sponsored by ‘Panasonic’ and the media partners of the event were The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Show Box tv channel, Meri Dilli, RBM News, Dwarka Parichay, IPU Buzz, Apha Films, Instant Bugle. The event was powered by The College Fever and In-kind partners were The Social House, O.P Jindal University and Adventure Island. Moreover, the gifting partners included Craftbuzz, Doritos, Plectrum Production, innovation partner Innolabz and Student Outreach partner Insightone. There were three different stages set for the event, whereby different competitions took place. In the afternoon, the street play societies of various colleges gave scintillating performances on grave social issues which left the audience awestruck. This was followed by a spectacular fashion show, whereby various teams participated, depicting different themes and style. While this was going on, simultaneously other competitions such as Rap Battle, Dance competition, ‘photostory’ and entertaining gigs left the viewers mesmerized. As the evening approached, enthusiasm could be seen bubbling forth from the audience for the celebrity guests. The eminent guests arrived and the pop singer Mr.Ashok Masti was welcomed by Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairperson TIPS and Mrs. Reema Tandon, Vice-Chairperson TIPS. He was felicitated with a bouquet and a memento as a token of acknowledgment. He, along with other dignitaries also gave away the prizes to winners of various competitions and encouraged the students. This was followed by the much awaited performance by Mr. Ashok Masti. His enhanced the audience’s enthusiasm tenfold as everyone could be seen dancing and moving with the powerful lyrics and energetic beats of his songs. Thereafter, the DJ played several powerful songs and everyone could be seen swaying with the music. This event was a major success and was highly effective in terms of implementation and reach. The painstaking efforts of all the faculties, students and everyone involved were rewarded by the enjoyment, happiness and enthusiasm that it could bring forth. The fest turned out to be a fun filled extravaganza, a spectacular gala that took place with great pomp and show.
Shubham Mishra, a student of B.Com(H), third year got selected for the All India University (North Zone) Volleyball team. The tournament was held from 6-12 Nov in Amity University (Gurugram). He was the only student selected from TIPS, Dwarka who got selected in the IP University team. He is an excellent player and has brought laurels to the institution through his hardwork, discipline and patience.
Collage Making Competition
CS & IT department of Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS), Dwarka affiliated to GGSIPU, organized a collage making competition on 30th Aug 2019. Collage Making competition, aimed to provide a platform to the students to show their creativity. The theme of Collage making was Clean India, Women Empowerment; Technology Today and World in 2050. The students were briefed about the significance of Collage. Participants got to know how to made collages that showed their immense creativity and imagination in Collage Making competition which will eventually boost their knowledge and encourage them in IT related activities in future. It also encourages them to work in a team. The competition started at 1:00 p.m. All the participants brought the newspapers, magazines, scissors and other raw materials and grabbed their seats. The time allotted was one and a half hour. Participants were given ample opportunities to showcase their creativity followed by the theme. All the students participated enthusiastically along with competitive spirit. The students were judged by Dr. Mukta Sharma (HOD- CS &IT), Mr. Hari Mohan Jain ( Chief Coordinator) and Dr. Susham Lata Katoch. The criteria of judgment were Creativity, Content and Presentation.

POWERLIFTING COMPETITION
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS) organized a Powerlifting Competition in 5 different categories for male sand 2 categories for females (according to their weights) on 26th March, 2019 in the backyard of the college premises. Around 70 students (50 male and 20 females) from different institutes & colleges participated in the competition. Bhaskar Shah, an alumni of TIPS was also invited as one of the judges. Winners were awarded with medals, certificates and goodies.
