EL-VEDA 2025 – Grand Farewell Ceremony

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies recently hosted EL-VEDA 2025, a grand farewell ceremony that celebrated the graduating students of BBA, BCom, BCA, BAJMC, and BALLB programmes. Held at Vivanta by Taj, New Delhi, this heartfelt event marked a significant chapter in the students' lives. It was a day filled with gratitude, joy, and reflection, cherishing not just academic milestones, but the friendships, experiences, and vibrant community that the students had built throughout their journey at Trinity. As they prepare to step into new horizons, they remain forever a valued part of the Trinity family.
 
 
The ceremony was graced by the valued presence of Ms. Arshjeet Kaur, our Hon’ble Guest of Honour, whose warm words and gracious participation added great meaning to the celebration. The occasion was further dignified by the leadership of Dr. R.K. Tandon, Honourable Chairman, Dr. Reema Tandon, Honourable Vice-Chairperson, Ms. Shreya Tandon, Member of Management, Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal, Director, Dr. Sandhya Maitra, Deputy Director, and Prof. Shashi Bala, Principal, Department of Legal Studies. Their presence stood as a testament to the institution’s enduring support and dedication to its students. The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising wisdom, learning, and new beginnings.
In his inspirational message, Dr. R.K. Tandon urged the students to approach life’s challenges with courage, resilience, and optimism. Referencing the profound words of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, he reminded the students to pursue their ambitions with unwavering determination. He further reinforced that the relationship with Trinity extends beyond graduation, assuring lifelong support and connection through the strong alumni network.
One of the most anticipated moments of the ceremony was the Mr. and Ms. TIPS Contest, a lively and engaging competition featuring rounds such as introductions, ramp walk, talent showcases, and thought-provoking Q&A sessions. After an exciting display of charisma and skill, Mr. Umang Bharadwaj from the Department of Management and Commerce and Ms. Prachi Bhola from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication were crowned Mr. and Ms. TIPS 2025.
The farewell also recognised outstanding achievers from the graduating batch. Ms. Ishita Duseja (B.Com) was honoured as the Student of the Year, while Mr. Prakhar Shukla (BALLB) was awarded the distinguished Student of the Batch title. The celebration was made even more memorable with special recognitions like Style Icon, Star Performer, Ramp Rockstar, Magnetic Persona, and Spontaneous, which brought excitement, colour, and unforgettable moments to the event.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal, who extended his congratulations to the students, expressed appreciation to the faculty and organising team, and conveyed best wishes for the promising journeys that lie ahead.

UNMAD 4.0: A Grand Celebration of Culture, Creativity, and Campus Spirit
 
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka, proudly hosted its annual cultural festival UNMAD 4.0 on 21st and 22nd February 2025. The two-day event was an electrifying celebration of talent, expression, and student energy attracting over 700 participants from more than 50 colleges and 6 universities across Delhi-NCR. Held at both the TIPS campus and Dilli Haat, Janakpuri, UNMAD 4.0 became a vibrant platform where creativity met competition, and culture met celebration.
 
 
A Vibrant Beginning at the TIPS Campus
 
Day 1 of the fest was held at the Trinity campus and featured 12 vibrant events that brought together students from diverse disciplines. The day included Taal (Indian Solo Dance), Indian Vocal Solo, Duet Vocals (Jugalbandi), Storytelling, Poetry, Face Painting, RJ Hunt, Slogan Writing, Digital Poster Making, and more. Experts judged the events from various creative industries, including Dr. Neerja, Bharatnatyam Educator at the National Institute of Indian Classical Dance; Mrs. Savita Srivastava, a renowned music teacher; and Mr. Akash Chauhan, an industry choreographer and founder of Unity Family India.
 
Adding to the excitement was a guest appearance by RJ Rocky from Red FM 93.5, who engaged with students and brought a wave of energy to the campus. Day 1 celebrated originality and performance, setting the perfect tone for what was to come.
 
 
Grand Stage at Dilli Haat: Dignitaries and Show-Stoppers
 
Day 2 of UNMAD 4.0 took the festival to a larger-than-life stage at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri. The day began with a ceremonial lamp-lighting ceremony led by an esteemed panel of dignitaries. Chief Guest Mr. Vijay Singh, Joint Commissioner of Police, graced the occasion with his presence and inspiring words. The event was further honoured by the presence of Dr. R.K. Tandon (Chairman, TIPS), Dr. Reema Tandon (Vice Chairperson), Dr. Prakash Nagar, Mr. Chirag Chawla, Ms. Shreya Tandon, and Ms. Soumya Tandon.
Adding to the grandeur were celebrated alumni and special invitees, including:
  • Mr. Shankar Sahney, acclaimed playback singer (Guest of Honour)
  • Ms. Malika Malhotra, eminent journalist and Trinity alumna
  • Ms. Sakshi Singh, actress and Trinity alumna
  • Mr. Allen Choudhary, Mr. Nandan Chawla, and Ms. Babita Pandey, renowned alumni and social media influencers
 
 
Highlights of the Cultural Showcase
 
The Dilli Haat stage featured show-stealing performances across events like Fashion Parade, Footloose (Group Dance), Reel Making, Street Play, Battle of Bands, and the glamorous Mr. & Ms. UNMAD contest. Students from colleges such as NSUT, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, JIMS Rohini, MSIT, and BVIMR delivered top-notch performances. Trinity students Abhiroop and Kritika Saluja were crowned Mr. & Ms. UNMAD 2025, while Team Flamboyance from TIPS took home the trophy for Fashion Parade. Each competition was judged by a highly respected panel, including Allen Choudhary, Sakshi Singh, Ananya Bhatnagar (CNN-News18), Raghav Joshi (Drummer, F-minor Band), and Hardik & Rifa Chhabra from Business Today and The Indian Express, respectively.
 
Recognising Academic Excellence
 
UNMAD 4.0 also served as a platform to honour academic achievers across all departments. Toppers from BBA, BCA, B.Com, BALLB, and BAJMC were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance in the odd semester. This special moment emphasised Trinity’s commitment to nurturing both intellect and creativity.
 
 
A Musical Finale to Remember
 
The cultural high reached its peak with an electrifying musical finale. Guest of Honour Shri Shankar Sahney enthralled the audience with his soulful performance, followed by a dynamic rap act by Ekam, and an energetic concert by The Lost FireFlies Band. With over 1,500 students dancing and celebrating under the stars, the evening became a memory etched in the heart of every Trinity student.
 
Felicitations and Tokens of Gratitude
 
Judges and special guests were presented with customised mementoes and gift hampers, a token of appreciation for their invaluable contribution to the success of the event. The event was meticulously planned and executed by the students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, whose dedication ensured smooth coordination and a rich experience for all.

UNMAD 4.0 was not merely a celebration but a reflection of Trinity’s vibrant campus culture, where academic excellence meets cultural brilliance. It offered students a platform to express, explore, and elevate themselves. The festival fostered inter-college collaboration, artistic exploration, and leadership among students. “UNMAD 4.0 captured the essence of Trinity — passionate, inclusive, and progressive. It was a festival of ideas, emotions, and expression, leaving behind a legacy of joy and inspiration.”

HR CONCLAVE 2023

 
Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, Dwarka in association with 'HR Shapers” organized HR Conclave 2023 on the topic “Building Capability and Nurturing Talent to be more employable” on 1st April 2023. More than 60 HR Professionals from renowned companies across Industries and more than 250 students participated in the Conclave.   The Inaugural session of the Conclave started with Lamp Lighting. The welcome address was given by Prof (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal, Director, TIPS. He welcomed Chief Guest Prof (Dr.) A.K. Saini, Dean, USMS, GGSIPU, and all the HR Experts from Various Companies. Later Dr. R.K Tandon, Chairman, TIPS addressed the gathering and emphasized students to look beyond the curriculum designed by the universities and take up add-on courses that can bridge the Industry -Academia Gap He Also thanked the Organising Committee for providing such a platform where students can learn from eminent speakers at an early age. He also urged students to learn what key competencies Hr looks for while recruiting from this opportunity. The keynote address was given by the Chief Guest Prof (Dr.) A.K. Saini, Dean, USMS, GGSIPU.  He elaborated that students need to think outside of the Box and break the norms and inculcate certain competencies such as effective communication skills, problem-solving skills, etc. The industry should help in making the curriculum so that students can be made employable. He also emphasized Initiatives taken by GGSIPU  In order to develop students to be job Providers rather than Job Seekers.
 
The conclave included two sessions. In the first session, the topic of discussion was “Bridging the gap between Industry and Academia”. The eminent speakers were Gyanendra Kumar, Head HRBP – TCS, Dr. Pradyumna Pandey, CHRO - Mother Dairy, Musarrat Hussain Head - Human Resource Suzuki Research & Development India, Neeraj Mehra, VP HR APAC ME UK - Infogain, Emmy (Anita) Gilbert, Senior AVP HRBP - EXL Analytics, Achint Jain, Head of Early Careers, Asia Pacific - WTW and  Mr. Ashish Gakrey, Founder, HR Shapers, was the moderator. The discussion began by pointing out the Initiatives taken by Government to Facilitate skill development in the country. The panellist suggested that skill and knowledge are driving forces in any economy so the government is focussing on skilling and reskilling its nationals through more and more public and private partnerships. They also emphasized the advantages of introducing fresh blood in the organization as they bring Innovation and freshness to the organization.
 
They also praised the initiatives such as Incubation Centers, Innovation Hackathons sponsored by corporates, and introduction knowledge capability courses by both Institutions and Corporates at the grassroots level for making students industry ready at the end of their graduation or post-graduation.  The panelist also said that the Student is the biggest onus in skill development and enhancement, the institution is also responsible for aligning them with the industry, they also emphasized that it is the Industry that is ultimately responsible for Competency development as 70 % of Competency development takes place while employees are on the job. The key Competencies they emphasized were the habit of reading, the ability to take challenges, courage, communication and the individual being a self-starter. The Panelist urged the students to always have a vision for themselves and they need to identify what role the company demands from them and what skills they need to be imparted so that they become successful.
 
The second session was moderated by Mr. Ashish Gakrey, Founder, HR Shapers and the speakers were Megha Gupta, Director HR - Fiserv, Sharmila Thakur, HR Leader & Head Human Capital - Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Achint Jain, Head of Early Careers, Asia Pacific - WTW. These renowned panelists put forth their valuable insights on the topic “Skills Development and Focus on Areas of Interest”.  The discussion started with how technology has evolved in the digital era and what capability building an ecosystem is providing. They also stressed that individual needs to embrace technology otherwise it may lead to redundancy. The panelist also said that students while deciding which job to choose should not look only for the salary the job offers rather the students should focus on what the job demands and what they can offer. They stressed that competencies are the one that defines salary so students need to focus on developing capabilities by enrolling themselves in various add-on courses. They emphasized that campus degrees get you your first but your journey ahead depends upon what choices you make as an individual. they stressed mind-shift change, being resilient, and your capability to learn -Unlearn makes a big difference in you being successful in your journey ahead. An open house discussion was convened with the students to clear their doubts. At the end, Mr. Ashish Gakrey expressed his heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished speakers and HR professionals and a vote of thanks was given by the Head of the Management & Commerce Department, Dr. Deepali Saluja.
 
Unmad-2022
A two day Annual fest UNMAD was organized by Trinity Institute of Professional Studies on 26th and 27th December 2022 at TIPS Campus, Dwarka, and Delhi Haat, Janakpuri, New Delhi. The event included a number of exciting programs i.e. Solo Singing Competition, Classical and Western Dance Performances, Stand-Up Comedy Performance, Mono Act Competition, RJ Hunt Competition, AD Mad Competition, Digital Poster Making Competition, Poetry Competition, Debate Competition. The key attractions of the event were Theater (Nukkad Natak), Fashion Parade and Mr. & Ms. Unmad, Mr. and Ms. Best Personality. The Battle of Band show was specially attracted the audience. Mr. Harsh Bhagat and Mr. Sunny Kumar also gave their performances.
 
The fest was designed by a team of final year BA(JMC) student with multiple technical and cultural events received an overwhelming response in all its events and was a magnificent success. In this mega event, a number of students of various colleges from our city took part. The event started by the student anchors, leaving audience in giggles or stomach-holding laughter. All competitions were held in their respective venues. The eminent personalities belonging to various media fields were presented to Judge the performance of students i.e. Ms. Vani Garg for Solo Singing, Mr. Ujjawal Verma for Solo Dance, Ms. Neerja for Classical and Folk Dance, Mr. Kartik and Mr. Shashank for Mono Act, and Ad Mad Show, Mr Nakshatra for RJ Hunt, Mr. Ankit Arora for Western Group Dance, Mr. Nandan and Mr. Kapil for Mr. and Ms. Unmad, Mr. Saksham Bajaj for Battle of Bands, and Mr. Utsav for Street Play. Event was inaugurated in the Multi-Purpose Hall of the institute’s campus with the lamp lighting by honorary Chairman Mr. R.K. Tandon, Mr. Y. Marka, Director Personnel & Planning, Dr. Ashutosh Agarwal, Director Trinity, Dr. Shashibala, Principal Law, and Judges of various competitive activities, department heads, faculty members and other dignitaries. The event started with the speech of Director Dr. Ashutosh Agarwal sir and Dr Shashibala madam, Principal Law.
 
The event was successfully completed with the prize distribution to Mr. & Ms. Unmad, Mr. & Ms. Best Personality and best performances of all other competitions held during the event. At the end of the event Dr. R. K. Tandon (Chairman) addressed the students; Keynote address was given by Dr. Reema Tandon (Vice-chairperson) and Vote of Thanks for the success of event was given by Director sir Dr. Ashutosh Agrawal. In the end, the fest was concluded with the stunning performance by the main band ZIKRR, a fusion Indian Rock Band playing Sufi with a unique approach to music and melodies. Everyone in the event glued to the entire show and really enjoyed.

TRANSDUCTION: Freshers' Day 2022

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS) functioning under the aegis of KEWS, and affiliated to GGSIPU has taken a step further and organized its most prestigious annual event titled, "TRANSDUCTION: Freshers' Day'' at Radisson Blu, Dwarka on 15th March to welcome around 600 newly admitted students for the session 2022. The objective of the event was to extend a warm welcome to the freshers admitted to the various courses in the college. The event lit up with the presence of the Distinguished Guest, Mr. Shankar Chaudhary, IPS and DCP, Dwarka district. Apart from that, the Guest of Honor for the function was Mr. Shankar Sahney, famous Punjabi Pop Singer.

Ms. Reema Tandon felicitated the Distinguished Guest, Mr. Shankar Chaudhary, DCP, Dwarka, with a Sapling and Dr. R K Tandon welcomed him with a memento. Mr. Shankar Sahney, the Guest of Honor of the occasion was then presented with a memento by Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman, TIPS. Dignitaries then proceeded for lamp lighting.

Following the felicitation ceremony, Dr. R K Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, addressed the gathering and blessed the students for their bright future by his kind words. He welcomed the Guests and appreciated Mr. Shankar Chaudhary, DCP the way he is handling safety and security of the public. He also welcomed Mr. Shankar Sahney and special guest Mr. Manish Madhukar. While addressing the students, he asked the students to focus on time management, wisdom and self control. He talked about the transition from school education to college education. He asked the students to focus on self improvement through two verticals: intelligence and spiritual growth. He also thanked the sponsor of the event Sai Fincorp (A Trusted Gold Loan Company) with branches situated in West Delhi and Royal Residency (A Place of Perfect Stay) situated at Sector-9, Dwarka.

Thereafter, the Distinguished Guest, Mr. Shankar Choudhary took the centre stage to extend warm wishes to the students and congratulated them for becoming a part of the TIPS family and praised the Chairman for his contributions in the Education Sector. He focused on the crime rate against women and discussed about a whatsapp number that has been created for lodging anonymous complaints by women. Mr. Shankar Sahney, the Guest of Honor also praised the college for its achievements. He then rocked the stage with his performance.

 The programme began with Saraswati Vandana followed by Fresher Pageant contest, Mr. and Ms. Freshers 2022 followed with Most Promising Talent Award for the year 2022. Students of both shifts participated in the contest. Students of TIPS also presented their dazzling cultural performances in between the rounds of the competition to make the event more colorful. The Elysian Society then presented the Lok Geet of Trinity and rocked the stage with their performance. Following that, cultural performances by ZORKS, the dance society of TIPS, rocked the stage with their performance.The occasion was high on entertainment quotient as one after another event kept tumbling out. Last but not the least, Flamboyance, the fashion society of TIPS, lit the stage with their performance. It was a breathtaking moment for the students when Ansh from BALLB and Drishti from BCA and Aman from BBA and Ritika from BAJMC were titled as Mr and Miss Fresher for the first shift and second shift respectively. The same frenzy was repeated when Harshit Chawla from BAJMC was awarded the most promising talent of the year 2022-2023.

Awards of Excellence were also conferred in different categories to the Alumnis of the Institution. Mr. Arunansh Shokeen was awarded in the category of Startup/Industry/Institution; Ms. Manvi Khilnani was awarded for Excellence as a Freelancer; Ms. Jigyasa was awarded for Excellence for contribution in Private/Public/Govt. Last but not the least, Ms. Pooja Sharma was awarded for contribution in Public/Social life. The programme was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Barkha Bahl, Director, TIPS followed by lunch and DJ.

EL-VEDA 2020: FAREWELL TO THE THIRD YEAR.



Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, (TIPS), Dwarka functioning under the aegis of KEWS, affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi organised El-Veda- 2020 on June 1st 2020, bidding an innovative, inclusive, and heartfelt Virtual Farewell to the third-year students. With a zest of keeping the excitement in the students intact in these trying times, the E-farewell began with an overwhelming and gracious participation from the Dignitaries, Faculty, Staff, and Students.  

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by a welcome address from Dr. R K Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, where he emphasized on the need of carrying and sustaining the values earned by the students in the college, and utilize them in dealing with emotional as well as professional stress that may follow in such an unpredictable scenario. His valuable input was soon followed by some golden words shared by Dr. Barkha Bahl, Director, TIPS, where she quoted several noteworthy sayings from successful individuals to motivate the young minds towards acting with maturity, dignity, and accountability. Several enjoyable games were lined up for the students which were received enthusiastically by them, these included Bollysharaz and Riddling. Many first and second year students volunteered as cultural performers for the event and showcased their talent in singing, bhangra, and dance faceoff. These events were closely followed by a beautiful and relatable poem written by Dr. P K Nayak, Associate Professor, Department of Management and Commerce, TIPS, especially for all final year students.

Each Department from the College left no stone unturned in making their respective students feel cherished and loved, as all Heads of Department delivered sincere gratitude and good wishes to the students on behalf of the entire TIPS fraternity. A presentation was shared highlighting the most promising performers of the Institute among the graduating batch, reminding the bright minds that they must continue to bring laurels in their names.  Students too, made a genuine effort in compiling their memories in videos and sharing with everyone as their recognition towards the Institute. It was followed by distribution of E-Vouchers to the winners in the games conducted. As the program edged towards the completion, a vote of thanks was given by Mr. Mahtab Alam, Assistant Professor, Department of Management and Commerce, TIPS, to all the participants who maintained the decorum of the event during its course and contributed in making this effort a successful one.  

TRANSDUCTION 2019 - FRESHER’S PARTY

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS) functioning under the aegis of KEWS, and affiliated to GGSIPU has taken a step further and organized its most prestigious annual event titled, "TRANSDUCTION: Freshers' Day" at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka on 14th September to welcome around 600 newly admitted students for the session 2019. The event lit up with the presence of Distinguished Guest, Mr. Bhupi Chawla (famous punjabi pop singer) and Mr. Sanjeev Anand (a famous lyricist). Apart from that, the Guest of Honour for the function was Mr. J.P. Sharma who is a socialite. Ms. Reema Tandon, Vice-chairperson, TIPS, felicitated the Distinguished Guest, Mr. Bhupi Chawla and Dr. R.K. Tandon, Chairman, TIPS presented a memento to him. Following this, Ms. Reema Tandon, then felicitated the Distinguished Guest, Mr. Sanjeev Anand with a Sapling and Dr. R K Tandon welcomed him with a memento. Mr. J.P. Sharma, the guest of honour of the occasion was then presented with a memento by Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS and a Sapling by Dr. Barkha Bahl, Additional Director, TIPS and Dr. KK Geetha, Director (Law),TIPS. Dignitaries then proceeded for lamp lighting. Following the felicitation ceremony, Dr. R K Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, welcomed the guests and appreciated the organising team. He addressed the gathering & asked the students to have a goal and work towards it. He also asked the students to imbibe the feeling of nationalism. In the end, he blessed the students for their bright future by his kind words. Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS also extended a warm welcome to the guests. He highlighted the importance of students as they are an integral part of the institution. He motivated the students and told them about the importance of practice if they want to excel in any field. Thereafter, our Distinguished Guest, Mr. Sanjeev Anand who is a famous lyricist took the centre stage to extend warm wishes to the students and also praised that the newly inducted BA LLB programme is doing very well and making TIPS more famous in GGSIP University Colleges.

EL-VEDA 2019: FAREWELL TO THE THIRD YEAR.

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, (TIPS), Dwarka functioning under the aegis of KEWS, affiliated to GGSIPU, Delhi organised El-Veda- 2019, bidding farewell to the third-year students on April 17,2019. The event was held at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka. Dr.Vikas Rao Vadi, Director felicitated Ms Manvi Khilani and Atin Kapoor.After felicitation Dignitaries then proceeded for lamp lighting. The highlight of the function were beautiful cultural presentations. The students put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs and pulsating music that rocked the auditorium. Performance by Elysian, the music society of TIPS, that enthralled the students deserves a special mention. It was followed by title presentation to the students of all streamsand winners of Ms. Diva Niharika (BAJMC)and Mr Zeus Pulkit(BBA).Dr. VikasRaoVadi, Director, extended his blessings and wishes to the students for their future journey.He also appreciated their efforts for enthusiastically participating in varied competitions and raising the bar of perfection. Blessings and wishes by the Management, Faculty and Staff of TIPS were extended to the students through a heart touching video presentation. Following the felicitation ceremony, Dr. R.K Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, addressed the gathering and blessed the students for their bright future by his kind words. Thereafter,MS. Veditha Reddy andShankerSahneytook the centre stage to extend warm wishes to theout going students andMr. Shankar Sahney also made the students grove to his musical tunes. Following that, cultural performances by ZORKS, the dance society of TIPS, rocked the stage with their performance. Thereafter, as a token of memory and love, students were presented with mementoes and outstanding students were presented with special titles and awards. The event concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. VikasRaoVadi, followed by lunch and DJ to let students enjoy their farewell and make memoriesfor lifetime.Thus ended a beautiful evening marked with happiness.

TRANSDUCTION 2018 - FRESHER’S PARTY

Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, (TIPS), Dwarka, functioning under the aegis of KEWS, affiliated to GGSIPU held TRANSDUCTION: Freshers' Party at Vivanta by Taj, Dwarka on September 9 to welcome newly admitted students for the session 2018. The objective of the event was to extend a warm welcome to the freshers admitted to the various courses in the college. The program kick-started by welcoming the students of the college,which was followed by the much awaited Mr. & Ms. Fresher contest. The theme of the event was ‘Disney- Prince and Princess.’ The event was a royal affair which witnessed a heady mix of royalty with panache as newbies flaunted their fashionista avtar with elan.Dr. R.K.Tandon, Chairman, TIPS, Dwarka and Mrs. Reema Tandon, Vice Chairperson, TIPS along with Distinguished Guest, Shri Suresh Jain, Guest of Honour, Mr Aleksei Illiuviev, Mr Anto Alphonse, Mr Kunal Kishore, Prof HP Garg, Director General and Dr Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, held the lighting of the lamp ceremony. Dr. R.K. Tandon, Ms Reema Tandon and Prof H P Garg felicitated Shri Suresh Jain by presenting him a shawl, memento and a sapling. Aleksei Illiuviev and Anto Alphonse were felicitated by Dr. R.K. Tandon and Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi. Kunal Kishore was felicitated by Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi and Prof H P Garg. Dr. R.K. The finalists of the Mr and Miss Fresher’s contest kept the audience hooked with their wit and confidence during the ramp walk and Q&A session. The competition was followed by the most promising talent of the year 2018-19 event. The occasion was high on entertainment quotient as one after another event kept tumbling out.It was a breath taking moment for the students when Chirag from BBA and Vani from B.Com Hon. and Anurag from BCA and Shivani from BAJMC were titled as Mr and Miss Fresher for the first shift and second shift respectively. The same frenzy was repeated when Divansha from BAJMC was awarded the most promising talent of the year 2018-2019. The dignitaries seemed delighted with the cultural performances. They also addressed the gathering and wished the students for the bright future. Dr. Vikas Rao Vadi, Director, TIPS extended vote of thanks to all gathered. Post ceremony, the floor was opened for the much awaited DJ Party and the students grooved to new tunes.
