An Exquisite Celebration of Culture, Creativity, and Collective Brilliance
The Trinity Institute of Professional Studies (TIPS Dwarka), a premier GGSIPU college in Delhi, proudly hosted its much-anticipated annual cultural fest, Trinity Fiesta 2026, on the 26th and 27th of February 2026. Envisioned as a grand confluence of talent, intellect, and artistic expression, the fest unfolded across the Institute’s Dwarka campus and the culturally vibrant Dilli Haat, transforming both venues into dynamic spaces of creativity, performance, and celebration, reflecting its excellence as a Top GGSIPU College in Delhi.
The festivities commenced with a dignified inaugural ceremony at the institute’s campus, marked by a traditional Ganesh Vandana and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment. The inauguration took place in the presence of the Honourable Chairman Dr. R.K. Tandon; Dr. Reema Tandon; Saumya Tandon (Board Member); Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Kaur, Director of Student Welfare at GGSIPU (the Chief Guest); Arvind Gaur (Director); Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Agarwal, Director of Trinity; Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Bala, Principal of Law, representing its stature as a law college in Dwarka; along with judges for various competitive activities, Heads of Departments, faculty members, and other dignitaries. The event began with an address by the Honorable Chairman, Dr. R.K. Tandon.
In his inaugural address, Dr. R. K. Tandon articulated a compelling vision of holistic education, emphasising the role of discipline, perseverance, and values in shaping responsible leaders. This was followed by an insightful address by the Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) Manpreet Kaur, who highlighted the indispensable role of co-curricular engagement in complementing academic learning and fostering well-rounded development.
The fest featured an expansive and thoughtfully curated array of competitions and performances, reflecting both creative flair and intellectual depth. Events such as solo singing, classical and Western dance, stand-up comedy, mono-act performances, RJ Hunt, the Ad-Mad competition, digital poster making, poetry recitation, and debate provided students with a vibrant platform for expression, strengthening its recognition among top BBA, BCA, BAJMC, BCom (Hons)and law colleges in Delhi. Among the most captivating highlights were the socially resonant Nukkad Natak (street theatre) performances and the high-energy Battle of Bands, both of which drew enthusiastic acclaim from the audience. With participation from over twenty-five colleges and universities, the fest emerged as a thriving inter-institutional platform. Performances were evaluated by distinguished judges from diverse professional backgrounds, and exceptional talent was duly recognised and honoured.
The occasion was marked by a proud moment of recognition as students were felicitated for their outstanding performances across various competitions, celebrating their talent, dedication, and achievements.
The second day of the fest unfolded in grand splendour at Dilli Haat, Janakpuri, adding vibrancy and scale to the celebrations. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Vijay Singh and Shri Sanjeev Rishi, who inspired the students with insights from their personal journeys, encouraging them to set clear goals and pursue them with determination and perseverance.
Enhancing the cultural fervour of the evening, the Guest of Honour, Shankar Sahni, delivered a special performance that captivated the audience and added a distinctive charm to the celebration.
The programme culminated in a spectacular Star Night, featuring a live performance by the renowned Zikkr Band. The electrifying atmosphere, filled with music, enthusiasm, and collective joy, saw students and guests come together in celebration, bringing the event to a memorable and exhilarating close.
